FAB brings some of the world’s leading classical musicians to Budapest each summer, performing in the hungarian capital’s most charming venues in unique and one-off performances, and also teaching students in the form of masterclasses.
5th Ilona Fehér International Violin Competition

Venue: Budapest Music Center
The Ilona Fehér International Violin Competition, for violinists under 22, was founded in 2017 by leading Hungarian violinists Katalin Kokas and Barnabás Kelemen. The contestants are judged by an international jury comprising famous violinists and music educators.
Total Prize Money: 10.000 €
Masterclasses 2024
12-21 July 2024
Participants will receive individual, chamber and opera masterclasses from FAB IX. Summerfest artists, as well as a full experience: festival concerts, matinee concert opportunities, folk and traditional gypsy music lessons, string orchestra performances.
