The first concert features István Várdai, Dóra Kokas, Lilla Horti, Maxim Rysanov and Zoltán Fejérvári as the chamber music partners of the two founders. First, we can enjoy two songs written by Brahms for voice, piano and viola (the set was dedicated to the legendary violinist József Joachim and his wife). It is followed by Ravel's dream-like piano trio (a composition inspired by Malaysian poetry just as much as by the Fandango danced by ice-cream sellers in the south of France). After a violin duet composed by the French Baroque violin virtuoso, Jean-Marie Leclair, we can hear a 121-year-old piece joining all string forces together alongside our distinguished guests (Ágnes Langer, Júlia Pusker and Gábor Homoky): George Enescu's highly energetic piece written in his early years – his octet for two string quartets – concludes the first concert of the  FAB Ensemble.
