ANNOUNCEMENT – MASTERCLASSES
Festival Academy Budapest
For solo instrumentalists, string quartets and various chamber music formations
Application: from 21 April to 15 June 2022
Application fee in total: 100€/person
Both active and passive participants can attend all festival events free of charge.
Performers – Professors
String quartets: György Kurtág , Eberhard Feltz, András Keller, Barnabás Kelemen
The best three string quartets may also attend György Kurtág’s masterclass.
Violinists: György Pauk, Kristóf Baráti, András Keller, Barnabás Kelemen, Alissa Margulis, Katalin Kokas, Eszter Perényi, Jonian Elias Kadesha
Violists: Maxim Rysanov, Razvan Popovici
Cellists: Marc Coppey, Dóra Kokas, Vashti Mimosa Hunter, Jonathan Cohen
The 10-day masterclass is worth a 30-point further education training for teachers.

The jury consisting of the professors of the masterclasses will select the active participants in the course of a preliminary on-site audition on 14 July 2022.

Both passive and active participants may enter all concerts and courses of the festival free of charge. The applicants (both passive and active) will have the chance to form their chamber music formations, organise rehearsals and perform at matinée concerts with the movements they have been practising.
