The Liszt-Prize awardee Ági Szalóki is considered to be one of the most versatile singers of out time; she is well-versed in jazz, in world music and also in different types of authentic folk music. Among others, she feels greatly inspired by classical music, especially by Béla Bartók’s compositions. This time, she will take to the stage performing folk music, more specifically a highly sensitive selection of songs that reflect on the programme of the concert held some hours before, at 6 pm the same day. Ági Szalóki, who has gone on folk music collection tours herself, is able to release an incredible energy on the stage, and while all her musical gestures are rooted in the musical solutions, it is by no means copying, but innovative re-creation, which is of course also a hallmark of genuine folk music.

With consideration of the pandemic crisis, the number of concert tickets is limited so that the appropriate distance between the seats can be maintained.
